Our second (Summer) exhibition ended on 5 February 2026.  We had 70 artists and as always there was a lovely buzz of excitement on hanging day. It was especially lovely to see a number of artists exhibiting with us for the first time, adding fresh energy and new voices to the show. We had some amazing volunteers help with the admin, hanging and curating of all the art. Their care and attention ensured that the starting day included fewer issues and the exhibition flowed beautifully and each panel was thoughtfully presented.

The exhibition received many generous compliments, particularly on the quality and variety of the artwork on display. We welcomed visitors from overseas who discovered the exhibition while exploring the gardens, as well as many local visitors who made a special trip to see it. We received a lot of enquiries from artists interested in joining our society because of the friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to exhibit together.
