ABOUT
In 1991 the staff of the Bergvliet Library in Cape Town started keeping track of those who regularly took out art books. They then offered those people an exhibition space at the library.
This resulted in a small group of friends with a passion for art - meeting there regularly, and thus the Constantiaberg Art Society was born.
From these small beginnings, we have grown to a group of close to 200 members. We love diversity and therefore the only requirement to join is to be over the age of 14. We have an inclusive and nurturing outlook and thus welcome any skill level. We feel that encouragement and support helps one to grow and improve. If you have a interest or love of art, we would be happy to have you join!
